Join us for a SheJumps Girls Biking Clinic at the Moab Ho Down, starting at the Chile Pepper Bike Shop and ending at the Bar M trails on October 27th! Young girls will learn trail safety, first aid and other outdoor skills while working with the strong women of the Moab mountain biking community. This event is intended for beginner to advanced bikers ages 6-18 who identify as female.
This SheJumps Wild Skills event is structured as half day camp experience; parents/legal guardians accompany girls for a camp introduction where they will be split into teams based on their biking ability. Parents will then take the campers to the Bar M Trailhead (transportation may be available for those in need) where they will rotate through different stations via the Brand Trail System. Girls will work alongside female instructors and volunteers to learn a range of outdoor and mountain biking skills.
We will provide 1 to 2 female mentorship engaging all generations in the sharing of knowledge and understanding. Connecting experience, energy and love for our natural places with the technical and survival skills girls need to get out and adventure.
Discounted scholarship opportunities are available including a free bike rental! Please contact Courtney at firstname.lastname@example.org for details
